but they have everything to do with art and drawing, you ever notice that everybody doodles while they are on the phone? there like those inkblot tests that pyschologists use to probe your mind, ….
I have to agree with Ed on that one. Your minds probably just so bored that it needs a creative outlet thus your scribbles. Sure, it may not be fine high class art but it’s art all the same in one form or another.
Whats it About?…God please save us from this infestation of self first self last artists..

Great blog! I am doing something similar (Just started earlier this week – I am a “newbe”) in an attempt to encourage a daily drawing practice and to help encourage ideas.
Does that make me a self first/self last artists (a la Denis)? Perhaps, as far as my little blog is concerned. Is a blog about a particular topic the beginning and end of a person? I certainly hope not!

I’ve been looking through your sketches. really they are quite awesome. I love the patterns and colors and sketchiness of them. do you use pen? pencil? something else?

I appreciate your kind comments. I usually use pen (the cheap BIC kind on scrap paper). I used to do some oil painting; I am hoping to get back on it soon.

aloha altereebo – the concept of a sketch/day, painting/day etc. is a great vehicle to launch into almost any learning, exploring – or even just to have fun in your day – endeavor i can imagine – not to mention it as a resource for creativity… i just wanted to say hi, and way cool on you’re daily pattern. …a terrific pattern to establish for anyone involved with the arts. draw-on! aloha – Wrick
